How we handle your data during the installation process — transparently and minimally.
What we collect
The official Windows installer collects only what is strictly necessary to verify your identity and keep you informed:
Display name you enter
Verified email address
Random install identifier
Installer version number
Windows platform label
Verification timestamps
How verification works
Email ownership is confirmed with a one-time code sent to your address. The display name you provide is not independently verified. Verification codes are never included in any administrator notices.
What we do with it
After verification succeeds, an operational registration notice containing the display name, verified email, installation identifier, installer version, platform, and verification time is sent to the Codyx administrator.
This information is used only to verify official installer use and to send essential service or security notices. It is never used for marketing and does not include source code, prompts, project files, or AI-provider credentials.
Data retention
